Created by the author Daniel Webster and his friends in Australia and China, it is a hybrid company which releases Chinese oriented texts via the internet. As a publisher, distributor and bookseller itself, DW Three Kingdoms' main aspiration is to produce The New Three Kingdoms Series and market to the global public.

Why write a new version of Three Kingdoms?

The initial motive was to bring the values, lessons and enjoyment from the original Three Kingdoms to Western readers. At the same time it aims to deepen and improve these assets by refining the storyline and adding new content. The New Three Kingdoms Series also relieves readers of the repetitiveness and confusion found in the original, and with the incorporation of other genres it should appeal to a far broader audience.

How is The New Three Kingdoms Series different?

By focusing on the main characters and plots, whilst telling the story on a more personal level, it creates a more immersive story that leaves a greater impact on the reader. Its style offers further character development, more details of settings and action, and deals with a vast array of themes. The new novels contain greater factual and creative information, compiled through 5 years of research and planning.

What is The Greatest of Heroes?

Covering about one sixth the original Three Kingdoms, it is a 20 chapter introduction of the epic tale. At 177,000 words it is a sizeable book which in itself offers incredible adventures and battles that astound in every chapter. Both heartwarming and heartrending, it cultivates the story of the incredible leaders who struggled against each other in some of mankind's most desperate times.

What else will comprise The New Three Kingdoms Series?

A Chinese translation of the first novel is already underway, and also a children's version with reduced violence and simpler language is planned. Other DW Three Kingdoms projects will include an audio version of the first novel, illustrations of the characters and battles of Three Kingdoms, and eventually publishing of the following 5 books in the new series.
